How cooking works
The collected sources describe three methods: Grilling, Boiling, and Slice. The method is part of the recipe, so selecting the wrong one can produce a different dish.
Ingredient categories include Meat, Fish, Seafood, Eggs, Vegetables, Mushrooms, Grains, Herbs, Natural Food, and Processed Food. Fish and Seafood are separate in the game, so check the material label before cooking.
The research lists 73 recipes in one guide and a larger list in another source, so the exact total is not treated as settled. A mysterious dish is also described as poisonous; its exact recipe and behavior are 待确认.
Useful early categories
Grilling focuses on healing, including active-hero recovery, team recovery, and regeneration. Boiling includes team buffs and resurrection-related teas, with Grain Tea described as an accessible early revival option in the collected research.
Slice dishes include stamina and utility recipes. Egg Renew restores Familiar stamina, while Sashimi, Assorted Sashimi, Seafood Sauce, Assorted Sushi, and related dishes reduce swimming, diving, gliding, climbing, or dashing costs.
Mushroom Tea is also described in collected video research as a revival recipe, but the exact ingredient wording varies between sources and should be checked against the in-game cookbook.
Recipe discovery and ingredients
The collected video explains that recipes can come from NPC tasks or ingredient discovery, then appear in the cookbook once discovered. Cooking at a camp or fireplace requires the correct ingredients and method.
For broad ingredient labels, any item in the matching category may work; named ingredients cannot necessarily be substituted. Exact quality ranges and five-star rules differ across the collected articles, so numerical effects are 待确认 unless confirmed in-game.
This page uses the collected research only. Where sources disagree or do not provide a verifiable detail, the answer is marked as 待确认 rather than filled with a guess.
