What the collected rankings agree on

Multiple post-release sources place Charlotte, Dana, Theresia, Cerese, Kalsion, and Othell or Othello near the top, but the exact order differs. One source also highlights Sion and Johnny, while other lists place several of them in A or B tiers.

The disagreement is important: these are community evaluations, not an official ranking. They judge status application, Signal Skills, combo extension, safety, flexibility, and investment value rather than raw damage alone.

Character names also vary between sources. The collected research identifies the release spellings as Kalsion, Cerese, Sion, Othell, Lute, Johnny, Castella, Aria, Dana, Theresia, Ornette, Charlotte, Reina, Astria, Kalien, Eileen, Roxy, and Tarte; exact naming for some translated labels remains 待确认.

Practical priority by playstyle

Lute is repeatedly described as a safe early investment because he brings Stun, Knockdown, healing, and flexible team value. Theresia is recommended for Bleed and Stun routes, while Charlotte offers a high ceiling for players who enjoy fast aerial switching.

Dana is a strong choice for safe progression because Chako adds pressure, Frost, control, and defensive value. Cerese and Othell are frequently paired in Frost-focused teams, while Kalsion is associated with Burn, Airborne, area damage, and aggressive pressure.

Roxy, Castella, Aria, Reina, Astria, Ornette, Kalien, Sion, Tarte, Alex, and Eileen can be valuable in the right rotation. Their exact tier depends on the team condition, boss resistance, execution requirement, and investment level.

Why team function beats a letter grade

A useful three-hero rotation needs an opener, a responder, and an extender or stabiliser. The opener creates a condition such as Stun, Knockdown, Bleed, Burn, Frost, Poison, or Airborne; the next hero converts it into a Signal opportunity; the third continues pressure, control, healing, or safety.

The developer example collected in the research uses Castella, Lute, and Aria: Castella creates Break and Stun pressure, Lute continues with Stun and Knockdown, and Aria adds Fire and Airborne before the sequence returns to Castella.
